HOW TO UNLEASH YOUR CREATIVE POWER

Are you are artist ,writer or just a blogger whose trying to harness their creative faculties but each and every time you get your tools to start doing your creative work ideas don’t seem to be flowing? You searched the internet for ways to be creative and yet nothing seems to be helpful. Today am guy to share with you some of the ways in which I have unleashed my creative potential, if I was not creative this post would have been here and you would be reading it, the fact that it’s here means it came out of someone’s brain.

1. ENVIRONMENT
First of all you should understand that your environment plays a big part in your creativity, try to surround yourself around things that you think will help unleash that creative power. If you are a blogger that has run out of articles to write about, reading other peoples blog post will sure help you come up with something awesome as well but am not saying you should start copying other writers blog post but you can add some flavor to them, like they say new ideas are born from other ideas Alex Osborn shares his thoughts on that point in the book your creative power were he shares how with us how to unleash our creative power.
2. ASSOCIATION
The ancient Greeks wrote down three laws of association contiguity, similarity and contrast, be contrast they mean nearness meaning closeness of things like when you see a very small shoe and you think of a bay right there and then, by similarity that’s straight forward like when I see the brand Samsung it automatically reminds me of my laptop, and by contrast it’s like the opposite of things like when you see a boy and you think of a girl or you see a midget and think of a giant, understand how these laws affect your creativity can make you a very creative person the last 19 centuries humes’ law of “cause and effect” was added. Every time you did something you thought of the cause of that action, like when you yawn it signified hunger or being tired and sleepy.
Science behind creativity
Our bodies realize a hormone called dopamine and this hormone plays a very big role in our creativity. You are more likely to be creative after watching, listening or reading something that entices you, when something entices you chemicals like dopamine get released from your brain and you suddenly feel like doing something genius at that moment, people that luck this hormone are less creative and luck the zeal to do anything at all, this is why some people rely on drugs to help them become creative.

New ideas are born from other ideas
Creativity is so much based on association, it’s very hard or nearly impossible to come up with an idea that was not born from another idea, most of the powerful ideas we see people sharing today are ideas that were born from other ideas people just developed them. When you look at twitter, it was not some new idea nobody knew about because by then we already had another social network called Facebook, twitter is just a bit different but almost saves the same purpose, and again when you read the back ground of face it says mark stole the idea from the twins while at Harvard and decided to develop it, I don’t know how true that is, but if you were curious enough you can dig into that and find out where the twin got that idea you will find that the sources goes on and on.
Don’t just sit there and try to think about how to build the next big blog or social network if possible look at the things that are already there and try to develop on them. That is why it is very important to read books, the laws of association become very handy and in no time you will unleash your creative power.
Everything I just share above is long term creativity, the more you associate yourself with new things them the more chances you have of getting creative. It’s like copying all kinds of files to a hard drive and when you search for a certain file with a certain key word all the files with that name will pop up in the search, our brain work in the same way.
